- J.J. Graves country corner and funeral home owner and her husband, Sheriff Jack Lawson, are left scratching their heads over recent murders of a stay at home wife of a firefighter and millionaire who are both poisoned by cyanide. As if the murders aren’t enough, JJ’s father Malachi Graves has returned from the dead and is stalking JJ for computer flash drives. Meanwhile Jack’s best friend FBI agent Ben Carson is in grave condition and his powerful computer is missing. When Ben’s wife Michelle comes to town, she suggests her nephew Doug bring his powerful computer and help JJ and Jack find out what is on the flash drives. Another great installment of the JJ Graves books.
- I love these books! There's nothing better than snuggling in with a Liliana Hart story. JJ and Jack are magic together. I never wanted to know as much about being a coroner as I have learned, but the details were always necessary to the story. And I like that Jack is as squeamish as I am. This whole series has kept me fascinated and guessing at every turn. I found myself gasping on one page and then laughing out loud on the next page. There's lots of gorgeous descriptive detail, quirky characters, and well imagined mystery. I will read anything written by this author.
- I have really enjoyed the series. Jaye and Jack were so meant for each other. The story paced well with the suspense mounting with each page. I also love it when there is an element of surprise as you are trying to figure out who done it!
I really enjoyed the plot and development of the story and characters. Would like to have had more sexy romance with Jaye and Jack. - This book was full of action and surprises from start to finish
Great book. JJ and Jack are one of my favorite couples..Liliana Hart is an amazing Author. Everything she writes is great reading. - I have always enjoyed these books but this one felt rushed and unfinished with a lack of attention to details. Her mom just pops up out of nowhere and resolves everything? Puhlease...you are better than this.
- I will admit I only started reading the J.J. Graves Mystery series about two weeks ago. It pulled me in quickly though and I couldn't get enough. I've just finished this latest release and while I have loved all of them, this one was my favorite. I love the relationship between Jaye and Jack and always look forward to what is coming up next.
- Lilianna Hart is a master storyteller and this series is incredible. You have a coroner, with parents that aren't what they seem, married to the sheriff. The incredible plot keeps moving as they try to solve a poisoning and work hard to staying alive from other threats. Love this series. Definitely worth reading.
