- Great book. Being someone that already knows excel at a medium to advanced level this book really helped solidify my skills I just skipped a few chapters. For those that are not that good at excel yet, it does a great job going in depth with explanations and has great practice ideas to work along with it.
- This has helped me greatly. Exercises are easy to follow as you read. Use your computer as you go through and you are going to find that the mondane steps you used to use to get around and work in excel we’re just that. I’m doing work in one excel spreadsheet and while working in that sheet excel is placing and information and automatically summing and grouping with just a few examples I’ve learned from this book Im doing twice the work without even noticing. Thanks John Walkenbach!
- Good but I have one complaint.........My 2010 version came with a disk with the examples that you could copy right to your hard drive but for the '16 version you have to go to the website and download them individually.
- I purchased an older version of the excel bible years ago in order to learn excel to make my job easier. I literally couldn't even do a sum formula, much less a vlookup. This book made it very easy for me to learn and advance using excel for my profession. The book has great examples for how to use formulas. I was able to relate the examples to real-life scenarios.
Years later, I am now considered an 'excel expert' and I 100% attribute my success to this book. I recently purchased the most updated version to improve on more advanced excel skills. I have shared this book with many of my co-workers, who have now purchased this book.
I 100% recommend. FIVE STARS! - AMAZING BOOK! I've been an excel user since 2007 (10 yrs+), and I couldn't believe how inefficiently I have been using Excel. This book really helped fill in the gaps and significantly improve my skills.
- This has EVERYTHING you might need or want in it. I had an issue with a spreadsheet at work the other day, jumped to that section, and within seconds had it fixed. If you use Excel, or you want to use it more often or more effectively and efficiently, this is worth every penny.
- Very thorough in learning how to become an intermediate to advanced user. There are downloadable practice files too. Highly recommend to have as a reference in specifics on formulas. This author has nailed it once again!
- It is the real Deal ... If you have been using Excel for years ...this is the book ...If you have never used Excel ... this is the book ...the explanations are just right ... It Is Well Done
